I really enjoyed Splitgate 1, but Splitgate 2 isn’t hitting the same to me. Something about the movement and aiming feels off, I don’t like the class system and I only like 1 of the maps. Also why is TDM round based? I do like the Multi-Team Portal Warfare mode though.

Another movie I saw this past week was My Dead Friend Zoe. I definitely recommend it. It’s a roller coaster of emotions, but I really enjoyed it.

I went to see The Monkey and that was not for me. I probably set myself up for failure because I’ve never really been a fan of slasher/splatter type movies and there was a comedic tone to the movies as well, but I didn’t find it funny. The rest of the audience laughed a good amount though.

I’ve been eating out way too much lately, but the food has been amazing! #Foodie

My 4th game beat of the year, Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception Remastered. This one is a good game that I enjoyed, but I do think it’s the worst Uncharted game in the series. #PS5 #Playstation

I went into Captain America thinking it would be terrible, but it wasn’t as bad as I thought. It’s by no means a must watch movie and I wouldn’t go out of your way to watch it in theaters, but I liked it more than I thought I would.

#3 of the year. Uncharted 2: Among Thieves Remastered. I’ve beat this before but wanted to get the platinum for it. I really wish the multiplayer was apart of this remaster, I’d kill to play that right now! #PlayStation #PS5

People have skewed views of Metacritic scores. A game scoring 80 should mean that it’s a good game, but because it’s not in the 90’s a lot of people view it as a negative for whatever reason. 70’s should be slightly above average or above average, 80’s good, and 90’s exceptional.

Most of the other games I’m interested in we already saw at other showcases or game awards shows, but it was cool to get release dates for some of those.

That #PlaystationStateOfPlay was a little disappointing to me. I expected to see a little more from first party studios. Shinobi: Art of Vengeance and Days Gone remaster(since I never played the first one) are the only 2 new games I saw that I was really interested in.

Mindseye reminds me of Detroit: Become Human if it had more of a focus on gameplay instead of it being like quick time events. It looks interesting, but I need to see some more from it before I can say I’m excited for it. #PlaystationStateOfPlay

Second game beat of the year. Uncharted Drake’s Fortune Remastered. I’ve beat this before, but I wanted the platinum. This was the first time I’ve played an Uncharted game on crushing and tbh it was a lot easier than I thought it would be.

The first game of 2025 I beat(and got the plat) was one of my all time favorites, Red Dead Redemption. It was also the first time I played the undead nightmare DLC which was a lot of fun, that dlc really had that ps3/360 era charm to it. This was a fun plat. #PS5

I could be completely wrong, but am I crazy for thinking this Elden Ring game has a battle royale type mode? The fire spreading throughout the trailer reminds me of like the storm from fortnite or gas from Warzone. #TheGameAwards

The game awards was so much better than I thought it would be.
