I'm still so angry that the reduced residential speed pilot here in Winnipeg went for 40 km/h on select streets instead of 30. My short, 4-block street has 3 schools on it and they still made it 40 instead of just 30 so it's consistent with the school zone daytime speeds. And I say this as someone/1

I was talking to Seth Moulton's staff about that this week with regard to the Burlington ICE office. One thing they said was that closing an existing facility is really hard but preventing a new one from opening is comparatively easier. We have to stop these camps now while we have the chance.
