I think neither of them know each other's names, they just appreciate the vibes. One night one of them wordlessly followed the other home after they bummed a cigarette off of them like when you feed a stray cat

People hate how little it takes to make them happy (they're never happy). When they're done one of them silently gets up and leaves and they come back and do it again the next day
