i got my current job at blizzard because @jeffhamilton.bsky.social posted about an opening for an allison-shaped job.

i got 3/3 correct, and the tell for me was that the ai sample spent a lot of time giving details that went nowhere, while the human samples had smarter placements of adjectives/adverbs that supported the narrative.

but i have no expertise here, so i could be way off. it might just be these samples.

why do we listen to billionaires when they present self-serving arguments about "free markets" while doing everything they can to eliminate competition, while we refuse to listen to minorities when they talk about structural harms done to their communities?

(this is rhetorical. i do know why.)

let's say that there's a good explanation for it all. some convoluted chain of reasoning that somehow gets proven as factual.

these actions, these results, would *still* be indistinguishable from malice.

no, there is no benefit of any doubt remaining. not for him or anyone who proffers it to him.

all of the claims that this administration will do anything good to help anyone should be considered as nearly ironclad proof that they will *not* be doing it, unless specific evidence conclusively shows they *already did it*.

1600 dollars a month forever as long as you keep making art? that doesn't free you from needing to be productive but it does mean that you can create more and live on meager earnings. and start up on just a part time job.
