(Letโs ignore the naysayers about the sweeteners and enjoy the Pepsi Revolution.)
Was Pepsi during the second test event. They had the post-mix all set up.

06.08.2025 07:21 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Pepsi for the win! Besides, Coca-a-Cola is red and white. Canโt have that.
06.08.2025 06:09 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Yeah, they could do a whole day without there even being any football. That said, they have done that a few times during pre-season already. ๐
06.08.2025 05:43 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Yeah, that was also a thing with people with visual impairments too. Down by the stadium and accessing the City Centre, Sandhills and Shuttles have been upgraded, but it doesnโt obviously extend down to there.
06.08.2025 05:41 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I donโt mean from a safety cert point of view, but from a general planning point of view for LCR and Merseytravel to see whether their provision stands up.
Everton themselves are smashing it on all fronts with HDS and egress will be a lot easier now Everton Way and the North Stand will be open.
We went up to Costco last week and wandered down the the club shop and I drove down off Millerโs Bridge on the way looking at where you can park in the Sefton Boundary. As a woman though, canโt say Iโd be happy walking along there for a night match so trying out different things.
06.08.2025 05:32 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Yeah. Just wish they had done an actual third test event that was able to test the infrastructure of a full-capacity attendance. Even this one feels like it is cheating with the staggered departure times of probably only half staying for the full length of the Legends match.
06.08.2025 05:26 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Iโve always walked/cycled the match. When I was younger I used to live in Bootle/Seaforth so Goodison would take around 50 mins or 20 on my bike. Moved up by The Mons and walked from there and same from off Rice Lane.
HDS is one where I will be using public transport for.
Iโd start my journey at 6:30am having to get a bus to Walton Vale. Then Iโd get another bus (one every hour, but limited times) to Maghull. Used to get there just after 8am.
In a car it was aprox 15/20 mins.
Poor infrastructure leads to time poverty, more stress and less quality of life.
Tell me about it! I used public transport for most of my life and itโs not fit for purpose.
When I was in university I had to do school placements and they would base it off distance to home rather than actual travel time/accessibility. Bootle/Seaforth to Maghull was a killer (prior to Mag N St).
Honestly think the problem is large parts of the city still donโt have a direct connection to the stadium - everyone from South Liverpool and most of the West have to connect through the City Centre, which realistically isnโt walkable for most people (especially in inclement weather).
06.08.2025 03:44 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0You mean the place that actually has functioning public transport? Coming home from there feels like you get transported back in time. Merseytravel and LCR Metro Mayorship have repeatedly failed the people of Merseyside, but push the Green Charter regardless.

And yet the country is once again being pulled apart by intimidating demonstrations, stirred up by disingenuous and dangerous politicians and commentators.
They are getting exactly what they want.
Every female stranger in Liverpool too:
โYou alright, Love?โ
Could imagine a lot of confusion if a Swede called Love came here and wondered why everyone knew their name.
