In case you missed it, I’ve added another Valentine’s Day monstrosity to the books! My offering this year is a giant shield encased in chainmaille. This is the first installation of a massive character build & I can’t wait to see this piece alongside its final form.

In honor of this holiday season, I made myself a chainmaille-clad bat ear headpiece inspired by vintage Halloween costumes of the 1800s. If this project piques your interest, I’ve posted the full process on YouTube. Happy Halloween! πŸ¦‡

I made these two pairs of chainmaille horns for my annual Halloween project last year, and, looking back, I’m not sure how I’ll be able to top them. These horn clips are sculpted from aluminum foil, then wrapped in fabric, and covered in chainmaille. The full build video is available on Youtube!

What better way to honor my thirty (one) years of April Fool’s Day birthdays than with an inedible cake of chainmaille? When the chapter closed on my twenties last year, I decided the only sane course of action was to immortalize the occasion with this delightful styrofoam keepsake. πŸͺ¦

As today marks the first day of spring, I wanted to share my chainmaille rose as an offering to the season. This project was one of my favorites from last year and, looking back on the process, I couldn't be more proud of the final result.

Happy Spring! 🌹

With February coming to a close, I'd be remiss if I didn't share the massive chainmaille flail that I made for Valentine's Day! πŸ©·β€¨β€¨If you’d like to get a closer look at how this piece was made, you can find the full process video on my YouTube channel!
