I don’t think it will win Best Picture or Best Actor, but I really loved “Train Dreams” and Joel Edgerton is absolutely amazing in it.
Also, love seeing Bryce Dessner, a member of one of my favorite bands (The National), getting a nomination for original song with Nick Cave.
This from Karl Ove Knausgard on his writing is so beautiful - worth a look.
Many of us will identify with this:
