If you're doomscrolling, guess what? So far there are 51 kākāpō chicks hatched and thriving this season, the same number of birds as we had in TOTAL in the 90s! Only one chick has died and there are still fertile eggs waiting to hatch!

Perhaps the white tank top and the meal with all the soy sauce was a bad combination?

The legislation around CAM has been designed to cast a wide net on purpose, from my understanding, and there are reasons why that makes sense and reasons why it doesn't.

I keep getting annoyed about this every time I hear more about it, because I understand people's knee-jerk reaction, but Australia cannot possibly prosecute everyone who's lent/read/borrowed Lolita, or Tampa, or My Dark Vanessa, and those fictional characters ARE children.

Once you start digging into 'but Lolita is older' — she's still a child. The characters in Tesolon-Mastrosa's book, based on what I've read, are all of legal age and engaging in ageplay.

Moreover, they're letters on paper/screen. They're not literal images of literal children in either case.

The thing about Lauren Tesolin-Mastrosa's situation is that it's fine to be icked out by ageplay and 'barely legal' and whatnot, but if she's being charged with 'creating, possessing and disseminating child abuse material', we do in fact also have to charge every librarian who's handled Lolita.

I love games and so many of the people who make them. It was an honor to accept the award on behalf of the team and a privilege to be able to speak to what I believe in. ♥️

I thought I was going to experience drinking a Bounty bar but there was actually zero coconut taste left under the cocoa.

It made me wonder if it was feasible to, somehow, put biscuit chunks into the bun, but then I realised I could simply eat the biscuits instead and not get the buns again.

I forgot I tried a Mint Slice inspired hot cross bun yesterday! Pretty good taste but also it was strange to taste mint slice without biscuit crunch.

This is very encouraging, because it's the women who keep grabbing my attention. I just have to decide if the actual content is going to be any fun, and the only way to do that is to try watching it.

But part of me knows that the canon probably gives people equal airtime and it's the fandom, or at least the fans I follow, skewing the perception.

I see the gifsets go by on Tumblr and I wonder a) where are the MOC and b) why aren't people talking about the women nearly as the men? and it puts me off watching because if the canon is also that heavily skewed towards the white dude content when I can SEE the other people, why???

It's a phenomenon I simply cannot be hospitable about.
