makes sense considering it's just my real hair in a braid wrapped in the other hair. least amount of tension over time + locs don't look bad when they frizzy so it's not clogged wit product.

taking down these faux locs gon be the end of me but so far, this seems to be the protective style that has retained the most of my preexisting natural hair + new growth without much breakage so i aint mad
