I once was asked in a seminar, by a professional engineering company, they asked us if they could help them troubleshoot their metalworking facilities.

They specifically had to tell us "Get better equipment" was not the answer they were looking for

Your tropes you create can become the norms of tomorrow, and the previous tropes seen as archaic and backwards

Note: Many are really nice. I'm not saying to get or subvert all tropes and cliches - they are there for a reason. Happy endings are nice - it is nice when romances turn out well. Sometimes villains can die.

But, write your story - even if it massively diverges from the norms of today

A #writingtip for all of you - you do not have to go with the generic conclusion. In fact, its often not a good idea to - these story tropes were literally written in the days humans owned each other as slaves - you really should break those tropes.

There is a reason authoritarian, unreasonable (to the outside), and forceful ideology dominates the world -> you live in a world where the strong dominate. If you want to spread our liberationary ideals, and eventually break this cycle, and build a nicer world, we have to use the correct strategies

These are of course the words of a reactionary too.

We're of course not like them in what we fundamentally are and do - some of our tactics and such will mirror them however, since they're doing what's effective.

In effect, this means, at our core, discharding any notions of being acceptable to the public, and being neutral to the idea of being their enemies - if they wanna fight us, they may go ahead, we must break past this notion we need to be presentable rather than truthful
