It gives me hope when I see mainstream opinions from 20 years ago, and even the mainstream, let alone us, finds them abhorrent. Like the treatment of Britney Spears, or the homophobia and transphobia - and the undercurrent of leftwing, radical ideas too is just so much stronger now

The conservatives already get all ideas are not made equal - they're just mixing up which ones those are. The left knows this and they have most of the correcy ideas - some have basically all of them.

It's time for you liberals to pick a side, and get with the program.

Everyone opinion is *not* equal. You already know this - the uwus who grant Holocaust Deniers a platform sometimes end up believing the far-right ideals, & invariably end up as anti-leftists who hate the actions communists take to fix the world.

Some opinions are correct, some are false

Be decisive with your ideas (if they're not reactionary ideas and actually genuinely progressive ones).

Please don't do what liberals do and give consideration to fascists, or rape apologists, or the other worst of humanity. Don't be bad yourself, either.
We fight for liberation: not to be nice

A lotta this is mostly about action - if it ends up working and making the world a better place, that is for the best. This does not mean we cannot make it better, however. And you must.

Also do know what ideologies you will hold and that the broader left will hold are not neccessarily the end-all-be-all. But do have confidence in yourself - if you have broken from reactionaryism and are deeply nuanced, you probably are seeing something correctly, even if you're getting pushback

The alternate of don't be blind to the group: do sometimes, for things even remotely possible, hear out the group. Far-leftists like the USSR,uphold previous socialism, nuanced on Stalin & third-world 'demoguages' (like Maduro), understand the necessity of having socialist police for a reason

Here's another one:

Do not fall for the anti-sex work impulses. We want to abolish sex-work, decommodify this world. Sex work is the same as other capitalist work, IE Sex work is not good, because capitalist work is not good.

Don't be blind to the group: they are from your society, thus flawed

Huge ones are:

Trying to work within the Democratic party (this is a party controlled by moneyed interests - you cannot fix him)

The people who say 'idpol': class is the primary issue, identity is class in disguise - so identity is important

Blindly following the group without thought

Now: you do have to break with liberal notions (that they teach the general public). But do not let yourself be groomed into an ideological funnel. Do note: your ideological impulses that seem obvious not necc correct

I've seen a lotta good comrades fall, become unintentional compatible leftists

Recommendation to newer leftists: there are a lotta ideological pitfalls, some which can end your ascent. Even if you're right about a lot.

Please take a step back, ask yourself "does this make sense? Have I lost sight of what I wanted?" Watch out for oppressive, bourgeouisie ideas creeping in.

This is a war crime

Iran, obviously, no matter how bad the regime is, we stand with them critically against the USA trying to launch a war on them and terrorizing them

Bizarre: freedom is used to help collapse the USSR. The USSR had issues with censorship, to a much lesser extent democratic participation, ect. Reforms occur 1980s, but as poisoned fruit. USA uses new press freedoms, elections to defeat USSR, now Russia is way less free now than even prereform USSR

One thing I've learned: anything can be used against us

Marxism has almost entirely taken place outside of the White world, no nation in Europe has had socialist revolution take power. But there is the audacity I heard today, that communism is a White male ideology - just absolutely anti-reality.

I do noy criticize other comrade's perceptions openly, even if they're really incorrect - I don't want normies to misunderstand & then think of our ideology negatively. I'll also going forward call out problems publically within our own areas

I think why I never got into these intellectual terms and schools - ftructuralism, functionalism, formalism - because they're bullshit. These are things that developed in the bourgeois world, to keep them from developing correct ideas of what to actually do.

The world we will create will eclipse the bad start we had here - almost all people of all times will live in the world we help bring forth, and statistically we will be extreme anomolies. We're the precusors, they are everyone else.

If we succeed at building a world that eventually develops into communist society, liberation takes root, people born into this world will think this is how the world is, this is natural. And they'll be right. Our times now are a temporary anomoly - the future we build is the way things are.

Wikipedia is going to look like such a joke in the future. I mean, it looks like a joke now to people in the know, but it really is awful.

The articles are all written to people who already understand these concepts. No one can glimpse a Wikipedia article and understand it. Its not accessible

Does this sound weak? Yes.

However you are stretched thin. You do not have the resources to fight an exhaustive struggle, nor the power to turn off these criticisms (you can turn off criticisms by smothering them, demonizing the people who say them, ect. once we have power).

Pick your battles

A good way honestly to resolve issues sometimes is just not engage at all: and show what your group or cause is by being much different than expected.

You are in a class war - there are many battlefronts, and defectors come to you sometimes. Only onboard these people, correct only their opinions

Right or wrong, this person does have a problem with these actions

Your best bet: 1) if complicated, explain the complexities. A thief who steals to feed their family is morally complex 2) If clearly wrong, accept their grievances, then (next part is difficult) diffuse somehow, eg by reassuring
