I really try to avoid complaining publicly whatsoever about...anything really.

I just really hope that getting my new fursuit soon and attending more cons this upcoming year makes me fall in love with the community again, because as it stands right now...I hate it here.

All of which I have receipts for, by the way.

I am genuinely so fucking tired of this community as of late. I'm beginning to understand why so many of my peers have taken periodic breaks from the fandom, or have even left entirely. And lately I'm questioning why I'm even here to begin with.

Local shit-stirrer "threatening" to come to my furry meets after being banned from a group I help run, as if I wouldn't publicly embarrass this individual then and there for being aggressively fatphobic behind closed doors, lying about his age, making multiple attempts at inciting drama, etc.

Like...why does your friend group or social circle have to be a brand. It feels very "pay to play", a direction that the fandom overall seems to be leaning towards lately that I don't like either.

Gotta be honest, I'm not a huge fan of this increasing trend that I'm noticing– furry friend groups trying to commercialize those said friend groups. It's weird and elitist as hell.
