Genuinely surprised how many people mentioned the "outage" to me yesterday. I knew nothing about it. Mostly it was older neighbours or family who all obviously have "alexa" devices in the house.

Doctor in the House recordings with the wrong images. I’ve no idea what they’re from but several feature images of the same South East Asian man in front of a house.

The Sky EPG is apparently not familiar with the London Weekend Television version of Doctor in the House.

On this day in 1951, television came to much of the north of England. The foreman of the team building Holme Moss transmitting station explained at the time to the Berwickshire News how difficult a job it was.

To be honest..... by the time MTV Europe came to an end, I'd drifted off to VIVA and TMF9. TMF was the house "go to" music channel by the and of the 90s. It really was a sad day when MTV "gobbled it up".
