Starting with Sanskrit श्रमण (pronounced śramaṇa). Pali borrowed this as samaṇa. Then Tocharian B borrowed it as ṣamāne. Evenki borrowed it from Tocharian B as шама̄н. And then Russian borrowed it from Evenki. German then borrowed it from Russian as Schamane. And finally English borrowed it as shaman
