I don't mind some balance but it's a bit much when it's all conservatives. At least they learned not to talk about the mayoral race this week.

Listening now to 3 (maybe 4) conservatives pooh pooh progressives.

I listen to Week In Review and anecdotally I've perceived a change in the selection of guests in the last 2 years, with more right wingers in the mix. A few years ago you would never hear a guest that denied trans people their right to exist.

Years ago, in that exact spot, I absentmindedly stepped out onto Leary and my partner pulling me back saved me from getting hit by a car traveling at 50 miles an hour. I think about that day a lot.

I can't think of a worse place to put a park or pedestrian space without major changes on Leary.

Agreed. No shade against the 1 previous progressive mayor, but I have a lot of faith in a Mayor Katie Wilson to coalition build and message cuts in the best way possible. Even against what appears to be the entire conservative/centrist bloc of the city trying to drag her down.

Good opportunity for new Mayor and Council to make intelligent cuts.

Now is not the time to reelect a mayor who refuses to take responsibility for the failures of his administration. We have lost shelter beds every year of the mayor’s term, and more people are sleeping outside as a result. We are a national outlier on unsheltered homelessness.

Yes I think city leaders have been ignoring the common people for too long in this city. The affordability numbers don't lie.
