Also, my employer hasn't adjusted our incentive goals for the lower volume of live chats now opposed to other items we handle and how the bot handles a lot of the easier interactions that lead to positive interactions/ referrals. It sets us up to fail, then they wonder why numbers have dropped.

I do online chat and it also makes working customer service worse.

One of two things happens to members I end up helping in chat:

1) They are mad at the bot existing, just ask for rep, and start mildly annoyed.

2) The bot fails so my interaction starts already escalated.

This is funny and also a great, light, and fun way to show that AI chatbots are just agreement machines interested in keeping the vibes good (and will talk you into psychosis.)
