In #Stoke / Staffordshire, I'm getting used to the prevalence of Oat Cakes on cafe menus.

Like pancakes, but used like tortillas as a wrapper for savoury items. Cheese and Bacon is a corker. I am fully converted. There's a shop near me that JUST SELLS them and NOTHING ELSE.

Having not long ago moved to Staffordshire, just north of Stoke, my continuous search for really good cafés continues.

My favourite so far, the Market Place Café in #Burslem. I caught it when it was just open for the day. Superb bacon sandwich. Very lush and comfy inside.
