I'm finding out the bonus stories for Disgaea 4 are 4 chapters each and go up to level 300. I'm gonna have to do a lot of grinding lol. This game will take me longer to beat than I thought.

At about $60K that's about 128 million graduate team indie games, at $150K about 500,000 small indie games, at $300K about 250,000 mid-size debut indie games, or at around $950K about 110,000 indie games by a team of more experienced devs.

That's where I'm at. I was planning on playing Prime 2 and 3 first. I waited for a remaster like 1 but that seems unlikely. I have the trilogy on my wii u so I will probably play them at some point, but I'm too busy with other stuff at the moment.

It also helps that his first attack was a regular attack instead of this broken AOE attack. Dumbass enemy AI.

Crazy how much of a difference a grinding session can do since I beat the final boss in two turns this time lol.

I should be able to beat it tomorrow, but there is also the bonus chapter that comes in the complete version, which I will also be trying out once I finish the main game. I hope to beat that this weekend.

Got absolutely wrecked by the final boss of Disgaea 4. I was hoping to could cheese him with my OP units, but he has a 3x6 AOE that one shots everyone, so I guess I will need to grind a bit. But it's late and I start my new job early in the morning. So I will save it for tomorrow.

I find this so funny because he says the dumbest shit on the regular and makes criticisms that make no sense at all, but a legit audio quality issue, which was a minor note that likely didn't have much of an affect on the overall rating, is enough to set him off. How is this guy real?

I should be able to beat it with just a few more hours of grinding. I didn't use magichange much because I never raised any monsters besides Desco who's already stupidly OP even without magichange because of AOE attacks and a passive that boosts attack when surrounded by allies.

The more I read about Arknights Endfield, the more it feels like it's just a Hoyo game with the Arknights branding. Like even the narrative seems awful based on the criticisms I've read.

I'm at a point very late into Disgaea 4 where I need to grind a bunch because I'm stuck on a level with enemies that can fuse to have beefy stats. That alone is bad enough, but the fact that they have such high speed makes them impossible to hit, making my high damage useless.

The drama surrounding the game Horses is causing me psychic damage because it just seems like a horror game with symbolism??? We cannot be doing the tumblr bullshit of portrayal=endorsement in the year 2025.

I am reminded that anime existed. The creepy middle aged men cheer squad was certainly a choice.

I think we need to change the way we talk about SAG-AFTRA. Not a dig at Jeff here (I too would like to see a SAG-AFTRA Amazon Agreement,) but we've got to stop referring to SAG-AFTRA as an organization that can just "step in" and do stuff.

This isn't a "games I will play in 2026" list because I don't know what I will play. But these are some games I'm interested in getting in the future. Didn't include every sequel so assume I will get the sequel to anything I like on this list. There are also likely other games I'm interested in.

I've only played the first Baten Kaitos and it is very good. I plan to play the second some time soon.

There is a difference between "slop" and just being bad. Art can be bad without being slop. Most bad art isn't slop. Most bad art is bad because the creator tried things and failed or just had bad ideas. Slop is designed to be low quality on purpose, which isn't most art.

it loses that utility. "Friendslop", "dialogueslop", "parryslop". What the hell are you talking about? I prefer we don't destroy the utility of language, tyvm. It's fine to not like things, but you should at least try to articulate your thoughts instead of using a thought-terminating cliche.

I think the term "slop" is a useful term that can be used to describe art that is excessively derivative or designed for the market. Ones that feel lacking in passion or thoughtfulness, as if they were created to be popular and make money. But when people use the term for everything,

I just noticed some neat details. The green lines above her head and above the bird's head makes it seem like they noticed each other. And Amaru is moving her hand to reach out to the bird. It's such a nice detail. She may be a delinquent, but she's still very nice.
