I’m not even anti-Weezer, I just don’t need a more indie version of that sort of thing.

I’ve never listened to Pavement (beyond the one single I heard years ago) because my general impression of them is that they probably sound like Weezer but make music for people who think they’re too artsy for Weezer.

These games are fucking with my head and I’m already excited for another play through before I’ve even finished the first one.

I shouldn't even be awake right now but work ran an hour later than it should've so I'm just having my VERY late dinner. I love you guys and one day I will stay up until like 2am just so I can Twitch with you

Breaking up my big batch of "dramatic gothic British extreme metal" listening because my boss asked me today if I'd heard of Lift to Experience. I told him I haven't "heard of" them, I'm obsessed with them. So anyway I'm listening to their album tonight.

Thank goodness

Struggling my way through the Cradle of Filth discography. Forget how many of their songs suffer from "too many ideas at once" but then how it somehow was worse when they made a song with structure and it was Nymphetamine. (That album has a few jams, the title track just isn't one of them).

Mine does this and also looks at the light switch on sunny days when she wants to nap. It's usually her "bedtime" cue but sometimes midday she'll do it as if I can make the sun go away for her benefit.

None of these groups really sound the same, but there's a common thread thematically at least that is so incredibly English of them and I can't imagine bands from other places capturing the same mood even if they play in similar ways.
