Rarely have I seen the issue of post-natal depression so meaningfully explored in a quick montage sequence as it is in One Battle After Another.

To clarify, my first post was not referring to Sean Penn's post-natal depression, which is dealt with at length and may indeed be the driving force of the whole movie.

I have found myself unconsciously affecting Sean Penn's facial ticks all morning and am concerned it could be permanent.

Rarely have I seen the issue of post-natal depression so meaningfully explored in a quick montage sequence as it is in One Battle After Another.

10 years ago we returned for graduation and they'd covered Kafka's name with a tree.
