It's rather telling that Reform are dead set against letting 16 to 18 year olds vote. And just a reminder to 16 to 18 year olds that Labour have repeatedly said that they will not rejoin the EU, unlike Lib Dems, Greens, SNP, Plaid Cymru. It is a mystery what Zarah and Jelly will do.

It would be interesting to hear Trump fan boy Farage's view on Epstein.

I just want a government that gets on with the business of governing. Investment, Health, Education, Trade, International Relations. Not this interminable navel gazing about stopping the boats.

Near where I live there is a gentleman who stands in his doorway and waves to passing cars. Today I happened to be on the bus and the whole bus waved back to him.

I suppose the only valid reason for watching Rod Stewart at Glastonbury is to see the crowd's reaction as he tries to big up Farage.

Number 10 set to offer concessions to welfare rebels Exclusive: Ministers said to be considering watering down reforms, with more than 120 MPs poised to oppose bill

Screeching U-turn? How did Starmer get this so wrong?Number 10 set to offer concessions to welfare rebels. Of course if Labour were to rejoin the EU, there would be enough tax revenue to avoid shitshows like this. www.theguardian.com/politics/202...

Oh yes, without the fiscal drag of the pound around our necks and the EU not hampered by special conditions for certain members preventing forward growth we will in a much better place.

If Labour MPs can force a U-turn on disastrous welfare cuts they can also force a U-turn on Labour's disastrous policy on EU membership.

Trump bombs a country that poses no immediate threat to the US without Congress approval or reference to the UN and all Starmer does is whine about who is on at Glastonbury. We deserve much, much better than this.

Starmer's no big deal
YouTube video by Richard J Murphy Starmer's no big deal

Labour is absolutely not trying to clean up the mess of Brexit. The UK/EU deal is of no consequence whatsoever given the colossal damage of leaving the EU.

Every single poll and survey shows a large majority regretting Brexit and/or wanting to rejoin. Every metric shows it to have caused significant damage in many areas, not just economic.

In chasing dwindling Brexit supporters Labour are haemorrhaging its traditional base.

The net result of all the gnashing of teeth and screaming by the right wing media to the modest reset Starmer announced was predictable disinterest by the public at large. They are bored with Brexit, they want to see an end to it and the UK to rejoin with as little fuss as possible.
