1) AEW is not obligated to honor a guy who has never appeared on their programming.

2) Nobody is less deserving of a tribute than Hulk Fucking Hogan.

If AEW elects to do something to honor the guy, I hope they keep it brief, neutral, and use it as a springboard for some charitable cause.

People are so inclined to believe that just because the champion of the fed for 1000+ days had 1-2 decent arcs in a drawn out wrestling trope that everything in wrestling must follow suit.

One of the biggest sins of modern wrestling (mostly the fault of the fed) is that wrestling fans are inclined to feel the need that every main event story needs to be this multi-year masterplan "cinematic" type movie. This is a bad trope.

Just stick to basics, man goes after title, simple.

The 2 matches that proceeded before the main event as well as Bucks vs Ospreay/Swerve.

If I had to pick one it would be the tag team match.
