Kinda nervous about putting this up, because it's been hanging over me for some time now.

We've never considered a GFM before, but we're in a situation that has pushed us into looking at every thinkable angle.

Please consider reading, supporting, sharing... anything.

Few things make me happier than when a performer I admire and grew up with get the recognition they deserve. Though frankly why he doesnโ€™t have a knighthood and is just now getting his MBE I donโ€™t know! But still lovely to see. Pic from Radio Times. He still records audio stories for Big Finish!

A crocheted critter sits atop a laptop monitor. The creature is an oversized white eyeball with multiple pupils and irises, and an array of twisty red tentacles hanging over the laptop monitor. This is the T. Ocellus from Alien : Earth, a slightly adorable, highly intelligent but vicious little critter that will enucleate a victim, nestle into the liberated socket, and hijack its body, piloting it for its own nefarious purposes.

By changing only a single byte in the code of Mario Paint, the music composer will not stop at the end of the song and instead continue to play the entire contents of the console's memory as music.

3 months ago, Senator Melissa Hortman, her husband, and their golden retriever were shot and killed in their home in a politically motivated attack by a conservative Christian disguised as a police officer.

Not only was Trump golfing during her services, he doesn't even recognize her name.

Of course I'd be remiss if i didn't do Sixie's blue Big Finish Coat too. I started with this one, actually. Took a few liberties, but also the jeans and shoes look good with this getup.

I picked up ACNH after a long hiatus, and after I finished squishing all the roaches in my house, I decided I needed more sartorial elegance, so I made Dear Sixie's coat in the custom clothing designer. Just need to find yellow stripe trousers and orange spats!

A Garfield comic dated 9-10. Three panels, Garfield reclining in the foreground, Jon speaking on the telephone behind him.

First panel, Jon looks concerned, "He WHAT?" (onomatopoeia click click from phone)

Second panel, Jon looks irritated. "Could you hold on for a moment? I have another call coming in." (onomatopoeia boop from Jon's finger on phone)

Third panel, Jon looks aghast. (larger font) "He *WHAT?*" Garfield looks smug. Thought bubble : "I've been a busy boy."

A dictionary entry:
Hoist with one's own petard (adj. phr.) Caught in your own trap or trick. -- A clichรฉ. "Jack rolled office gossip to the boss until he was hoisted by his own petard." (The boss became disgusted with Jack for gossiping about others and fired him.) [From Shakespeare: literally, blown up with one's own bomb.]

Also as an addition; sign this petition ASAP if you're someone in the UK.

Rather than just sitting around and doing fuck all, we need to make it clear that this Bullshit OSA won't work. Ever. Nor do folk fucking want it.

Contact your MPs about the bill too.

I started with circles & worked my way through two skeins of RHSS Bitty Stripes in Rainbow, which gave me 65 circles. Hexagon borders using RHSS Latte Stripes took under 1ยฝ skeins. I just started my fourth & final skein of Rainbow. I have 65 full hexes & 40 circles. HOME STRETCH! Very 70s colors...

A room with deeply-colored wood paneled walls. The walls are a grid of circles, several of which contain backlit abstract stained glass. In the middle of the room, circled by a wood and brass railing, is a hexagonal dais, or console. One panel on top of this dais is open, showing an array of multicolored buttons. To the right side of the room, several steps lead up to a dark alcove in the wall. To the left rear, an ornate wooden chair sits next to a small table.

Tom Baker as Doctor Who and his companion (mostly hidden behind The Doctor, not sure if it's Sarah Jane or Leela) are looking at a screen which shows a field of stars. The Doctor is manipulating the buttons inside the top panel of a hexagonal dais, on top of which rests a shaving mirror on a tall stand. To the right of the viewscreen is a wooden paneled wall, with a motif of repeated roundel medallions. Some of these roundels have backlit stained glass in abstract arrangements.

I was inspired by stained glass roundels in Tom Baker's Secondary TARDIS Control Room from the 14th season of Doctor Who. I've always loved that control room. It fits beautifully with the dark Gothic feel of that season's adventures.

With all of *gestures broadly* I haven't really had much to say, and although I know that Bluesky is Good People, I'm sure that y'all are just as irked as I am, so I've been keeping a bit of distance for mental health. BUT I'm feeling really good about my latest project!

The mug on the left is dark teal in color, with a shallow tapered base and a cylindrical top. A decorative mug of dear Sixie now adorns a mantelpiece with other sculpted objects visible in the background. The mug is an approximate likeness of Colin Baker as the Sixth Doctor, dressed in red and spangles with a yellow cravat. Although Colin Baker's nose is magnificent, I believe that it is likely more prominent on the mug than in real life. I also strongly doubt that the very top of his head is missing and hollow in real life, as it's been my experience that Colin Baker is a very thoughtful and erudite man, which is a very difficult thing to be if you do not have anything inside your head.
