Thanks, I hadn't appreciated that. I'd assumed that the part in parentheses was a quote from something more official.

I think this goes back to myths from around the 70s/80s. There was a myth that the Muslim family females/offspring voted as ordered by the patriarch. 2023 Family Voting laws maybe intended to quash the myth. I think Ramadan might have more influence; ie travel & vote together before eating.

The "Democracy Volunteers" reported it (below). They claim to have seen 32 examples of Family voting (where two voters either confer, collude or direct each other on voting). Their report has been covered in the media such as the Manchester Evening News.
