My first report card for the March tournament is live.

Ikeda Shun wins his 2nd consecutive All Japan (Amateur) Sumo Championship with an utchari at the tawara's edge in a fierce bout vs Twardorj Buchchoron of Mongolia, a senior at Nita University & winner of the Student Yokozuna title this year.

I've actually gotten into tennis this year, particularly the WTA. Matches feel a lot like fights, with momentum swings similar to what you see in boxing and MMA.

The bylaws of the Japan Sumo Association state, that for yokozuna promotion a wrestler must win two consecutive tournaments or "the equivalent."
For example, Kakuryu and Terunofuji.

As for two simultaneous promotions? There have been five including:
Taiho and Kashiwado
Kitanofuji and Tamanoumi

It is not out of the realm of possibility but both Kotozakura & Hoshoryu could be promoted to yokozuna in Hatsu.
According to Takatagawa ex-Akinoshima, head of judging (and promotions), "If Hoshoryu continues to wrestle well and wins the title, he will be able to reach his dream."
