Yeah they are pricing themselves out, I have not been to maccas in almost 2 years, the price for the slop they serve is insane. Like a big mac meal going for $16 could get you a real burger at a real food shop. Then they will try and push ads attempting to get me back. Make it cheaper you ghouls.

Fastfood companies really are the worse at marketing. They will blast your eyeballs with ads like "THIS WILL CHANGE EVERYTHING" and "YOU WILL CUM SHIT AND EXPLODE WITH EXCITEMENT" and its just a burger with extra cheese.

it melted. printed a new extruded assembly and now we are so back... hopefully the stepper motor doesn't die again.

The worse one was a model I needed in nylon 6 CF that required a multihead, not bambus ams to print in a very specific orientation. Not only did they not use duel materal supports but they printed it in the wrong orientation but didn't use a harden nozzle so half way in it went to total shit. $455

When I go looking for a 3d printing service its because my machine isn't able to do it or the model needs to be printed in an unusual orientation. Every 3d print service is basically a rented x1c and not a prusa xl or even a custom multihead even though they charhe out the ass anyway.

I love trying to find a 3d printing service that isn't some idiot in his mothers spare room playing with his first X1C. If I am going for a 3d printing service its going to be some horrific model printed in PEEK or nylon 12 CF... I had 3 services send me slop without even warning me it would be crap

Project has a name. ASSM Another Stupid Sex Machine. Motor mount printed at 6 perimeter and 60% infil plus a redesigned link bar. The dinky motor holder is mostly for show and is just there in case a motor mount breaks. This will require a lot of printed parts...

Printed test pieces and I am not happy with the current design so I am fully redoing the motor mounts. Plus its been a little interesting printing in ABS+. Even with an enclosure the layer adhesion is poor. Cranking the nozzle temp to 280c seems to fix it but damn if that isn't hot.

How it feels when you stop obsessing over details.
