It slapped so hard. Those final battles destroyed my soul (in a good way). You and everyone else who helped make this game deserved better!

Of course, my joy and satisfaction with this game is tempered with RAGE at how many of the developers responsible for Veilguard’s most powerful moments got the boot this past year. The utter senseless waste of it. How can you hope to make more BioWare games after laying off its soul?!

It wasn’t perfect, but nothing is, and knowing the chaos of this game’s development, the fact that this game is still GOOD and remains true to the games that came before is an even more miraculous achievement

I have many many thoughts on Dragon Age Veilguard. It was so (pleasantly) evocative of previous games in the series - the narrative focus/story framing of DA2, the factions/backstory of DAO, the grandeur of DAI—with Mass Effect 2’s Suicide Mission thrown in to eviscerate my emotions
