The afternoon watch, ‘The Fog’ (1980, 2018, John Carpenter), nice restoration job, a much clearer watch ironically! More classic Carpenter to come this week I feel. Loved watching ‘The Thing’ at the cinema last month 😎🫣

Back to the beginnings, and although very blues rock, late sixties sounding in some ways, the heavy tone is already here, and the 70s would be all the better for it, and with a voice to suit, Leslie West 'Mountain' (1969, CD, 2026 Remaster). Love it 😎

Will be lining this one up fairly soon, 'Kill Bill, the Whole Bloody Affair' (2025), pulling the two KB films into one unified experience. Seems to be garnering excellent reviews in this format too.

Last night's movie night, 'Westworld' (1973, 2026 Blu Ray edition). Superb film and rendered beautifully by Arrow. Wonderful new interviews with both James Brolin and Richard Benjamin too. Still holds up well and Brynner just exuding robotic charm!
