Just an update—the picnic table area’s still open in Yerba Buena, the fence has an opening by the stone stage.

we sorted through the utter mess of circulating "blues for allah" tapes, triangulated correct-as-possible dates, re-tracked files with proper titles (including a bunch of songs unique to the sessions & a few unidentified pieces), weeded out many duplicates, & found lots of underloved deliciousness.

This game deserves more time in the spotlight. One of the weirdest, most experimental things in the roguelike design sphere.

There's a lot of games out there that just stick with tried-and-tested formulas with a minor twist. We should spotlight the creative stuff.

FYI for folks at home—the gardens aren’t blocked off. Now that setup’s complete, the barriers are behind the food stands for health/safety reasons.

The area will stay open the rest of the day after lunch wraps up.

Today @midvirginia.bsky.social woke up, baked roughly one million hamantaschen, and zipped off to book club, leaving me alone with a Just Add Magic-obsessed 6 y/o and a pile of cookies.

It's funny you say this. One of my personal projects this year is "watching a shit-ton of movies and maybe just talking about that sometimes" and I've largely kept to that. I'm keeping a list because I want to know how many I've watched but that's the extent of it.
