If you're playing with others it MIGHT be useful, but playing alone, it actually takes less time to just use the turbo nozzle

Soap in PowerWash Sim is just all around a bad mechanic.

In the original it was just a constant financial drain in story mode. Using it delayed your ability to get better gear, AND it was still never enough to do the whole job.

In Two, it means you have to go over everything twice.

Big downside of only streaming for about 6 hours a week is it makes it hard to plan games longer than about 30 hours because I could be on the same game for months. Which is cool when you're doing like, Trending games but not so much when you're doing Final Fantasy 7 Remake.

I think by watching a series of gartic phone videos on YouTube from newest to oldest last night I may have witnessed someone transitioning in reverse (and an ungodly amount of censored dick drawings)

After they understand why so may indie devs build off it, we'll move onto something like Capers or Parselings, a game that uses something other than Dice as a resolution mechanic.

Finally, we end with either Eureka or Yazeba's Bed & Breakfast, for a look at games with actual good story modules.

I'd start with something Dungeon Crawl-y to ease them into new systems to start, something with a familiar frame of reference.

When I did one-shots in college for a bunch of D&D-only's, the game that eased THEM in was Star Wars: Edge of the Empire.

Then I'd do Apocalypse World.

I hate how being stressed about a thing makes it harder to start doing, which in turn makes me more stressed about it, which makes it harder to start doing, which makes me more stressed about the thing, so when I finally start the thing it feels kinda like I'm chewing my arm off to escape danger

Today's project so far has been taking the fish plush and turning it into a 3D model.

3D Orchid will soon have a 3D version of her fish friend.

It's frustrating because at least for a while, the file name supposedly helped YouTube build metadata on your video, but somehow the user-submitted TAGS don't? idk both of those things seem equally ripe for abuse to me.

From the video impressions they showed I could only see one impression from a TTRPG-adjacent video, and it was a horror RPG.

I really need to do research into how other people market TTRPG content on YouTube since there's not a category for it.

I hate how YouTube basically ignores their own tag system in metadata. If you don't add a tag to the video's TITLE, which is seen as tacky outside Shorts, then it's gonna just ignore the additional info you give them about who the target audience of a video is.
