New here, wondering if I want to migrate over from Facebook. So far, I do not understand this platform. How to create friends, privacy, etc. I think it's all public. I'm just here in case people left facebook and want to find me.

I made an account so I can come in here and follow you occasionally. I don't really understand how to use this platform yet I don't want to see the feel of a million people, just friends.
