My sister had a bowel resection, 15 years ago now, but there are still things she cannot eat. I made a dish with mushrooms and her bowel blocked for days because of the skins, despite her chewing carefully. She normally purees anything likely to give her problems.

Yes, they are keeping her in at least 1 night. They could not get her heart rate down or her blood pressure up when I left, so she will see a cardiologist tomorrow. She is 66, and our mum died of a heart attack at 51, so we are very heart aware.

Today it was 43C here! Walking outside was like walking into an oven! I went to the airconditioned gym for a couple of hours, ran a few errands in my A/C car, now relaxing in my A/C home, after taking my sister to the A/C hospital. (She has atrial fibrillation 😔).
