I've never been more happy to not be American. I mean, I always thought America was corrupt and fueled by corporate greed but now it's just crazy. Like a Country run by some cartoon villain, lol.

The reason I stopped going wasn't directly cause of the politics but now that I'm feeling better and getting my funds back up, I'm feeling conflicted for that reason. Every time I'm considering it, I see a new terrible news that makes me feel like going there is a terrible idea.

I went on a crazy ton of US trips in 2022 to 2023, then I stopped going as much mostly due to people at cons upsetting me and also low funds.

I forget it's literally not even been that long with this president in office and he's literally messed up so many things already.

I'd rather avoid the US lately, but there's so many cons and friends and stuff, and the US is going to be stuck this way for alot more years...

I've been visiting the UK yearly. It can be cheaper than traveling to the US, lol, but a very long travel.

they immediately replied saying how expensive it was to get made and I'm like "I thought you said you desperately needed money???"

but they have this tag for their OC on derpibooru with hundreds of art of their OC, and were constantly commissioning more, very expensive ones too, so it felt like they were just lying to me about really needing money to guilt trip, and when I asked them how they got a product made...

They also wouldn't stop trying to ask me to buy literally everything they were selling because I bought from them one time, and when I told them to please stop, that's when they started complaining about "Nobody buys from me unless I ask them too," lol. They also claimed to desperately need money...

Long story regarding my old plush maker, but they were contently complaining to me (the person commissioning them) about not getting commissions, and made rude comments towards me about how it's so easy for me to make money by being lewd online. Wow, I wonder why people don't commission them, lol.

Handmade plushies tend to be expensive. I did get a plush of my oc from a cheaper plush maker.

(However the person I commissioned was terrible to work with, so I dropped them. They were acting very strange...😅)

Also, if these plushmakers are from America, that adds a huge fee for me now.

Well, it's obviously fake, cause this is not what it looks like. When you are asked for age verification, it takes you to your discord settings page. Since it's already a thing in the UK, we know what it looks like. Not sent via random forwarded discord message, but some people don't know better.

The purpose of these links is usually to steal sensitive info from a mass amount of users. They will steal the info of the user who clicked the link, then chainmail send it to more people's accounts using the account they took order to steal info from a mass amount of user, likely to profit off of.

With many of them, all it takes is one click of a bad link to get hacked and have your info stolen.

I'd like to see more of this version of them, lol.

Sometimes I wonder if these people are literally just religious because they think it gives them an excuse to be an asshole.
