We battle forests, straighten rivers, label species "pests"...
Arrogance sees nature as an enemy to conquer.
Reality: She's the living system sustaining every breath we take.
Time to shift from war to partnership. ๐ŸŒฑโค๏ธ

True progress isn't dominating nature,it's coexisting. Indigenous knowledge often teaches this: live in harmony, not superiority. Let's ditch arrogance for reverence. Our survival depends on it. ๐ŸŒฟ Whatโ€™s one way you respect nature? #NatureHumility

Climate change isn't "nature's problem"โ€”it's ours. Extreme weather, rising seas: direct results of treating Earth as an endless resource dump. Arrogance blinds us; humility drives solutions like renewables. โ˜€๏ธ #ClimateAction

Why are global governments pouring money into fossil fuels, subsidizing the ruin of our environment?โ€Itโ€™s a question that keeps me up at night. Fossil fuel subsidies,$1.3T in 2024 alone, prop up an industry driving climate chaos, from wildfires to rising seas. We need to act:

Deforestation isn't "just" clearing land.
It's erasing biodiversity hotspots, disrupting rainfall patterns via reduced transpiration, and releasing massive stored carbon.
One action equals triple planetary damage.
That's why it's ecocide. Protect the lungs of Earth. ๐ŸŒ๐ŸŒณ

Trees aren't decoration โ€” they're life support.
They store carbon (Amazon alone holds 90โ€“140 Gt!), regulate hydrological cycles through transpiration โ†’ rain, and shelter 10%+ of global species.
Cut them โ†’ drought + floods + COโ‚‚ spike.
Time to stand up.

When we lose forests:
- Biodiversity collapses (millions of species at risk)
- Water cycles break (less rain, more drought)
- Carbon sinks flip to sources (Amazon/Congo now emitting in parts)
This isn't logging. It's dismantling Earth's systems.
Act now. #EnvironmentalSustainability

Ecocide defined: systematic destruction of ecosystems.
Deforestation in Amazon & Congo simultaneously:
Kills biodiversity,
Disrupts global rainfall,
Turns carbon vaults into climate bombs.
We can't negotiate with physics. Stand for these forests! ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Bees are not just insects; they are farmers. They pollinate 1/3 of the food we eat. Yet deforestation destroys their homes & food sources. Regret is useless without action. #BeeCrisis #BeesMatter

Human arrogance towards nature is despicable.
We treat Earth like a disposable resource, yet we've already lost 68% of wildlife populations since 1970. Nature doesn't need us. We need nature. Time to drop the superiority complex.

Forests cure biodiversity loss:
Home to 80% of terrestrial biodiversity,80% amphibians, 75% birds, 68% mammals.
They shelter 60,000+ tree species.
Deforestation erases species faster than we can count. Heal forests = heal life on Earth. ๐Ÿพ๐ŸŒฒ

Humans are moving in to cut down the last of the very last. The last of old growth forests of the Amazon, the Congo Basin, the Canadian Pacific coast. Forests that have sustained life for many millennia.
Who wants to leave that as a legacy?
I don't.

All existential crises we face stem from a minority of awful people. The world wants โ˜ฎ๏ธ & a just transition to sustainable economies. Endless possibilities flow from that. Use our outrage, our compassion & the Rights of Nature to make this good happen. UN 30x30 initiative is a baseline, a beginning.

"Agriculture" is just the human word for what bees have been doing for millions of years for free: transferring life.
When we destroy pollinators, we aren't just losing honey. We are dismantling the foundation upon which every complex society was built. No bees, no bread.

Look at this reality: One side lush forest, the other barren destruction.
Deforestation and fires are turning carbon sinks into carbon sources, wiping out biodiversity, and supercharging climate change. Recent years show record losses in both regions.

This is ecocide.
