‼️ The State Department has REMOVED TQIA+ on their page of recommendations for queer travelers. This page yesterday said "LGBTQIA+" and now just says "LGB".
The federal government is trying to erase trans people from existence.
Like!!!! It’s such a perfect encapsulation of how it feels like the system always always wins and in the moment you feel so powerless and your efforts so pointless to even try to go up against it. It makes you doubt and rethink everything down to your basic core principles.

I work with queer and trans youth and let me tell you..my 5 year old trans kids are 1000% more sure of who they are than anyone writing these bullshit laws. These are the most gentle, charming, goofy kiddos I’ve ever met and they deserve to be just as free and happy as any other. I hate it here.
