Newsweek says WalMart is poised to lose Billions due to the government shutdown and subsequent refusal to distribute the promised SNAP benefits. I wonder if they'll feed their workers, most of whom need SNAP to survive on the poverty wages they pay.

Yes indeed! There have been many instances come to light about Pro-Life officials getting abortions for their mistresses. I just never had a concise phrase to use before. Now I can call them the Pro-Foetus movement rather than the Pro-Life movement. This makes me strangely happy.

Someone I recently followed gave me the words to say about the incongruity of the pro-life movement. They are pro-foetus, not necessarily pro life.

That is an excellent distinction, thank you! I have trouble putting my very complex thoughts into words, and this is something I can use when mocking Republicans and the evangelical right. I try not to indulge but sometimes it's impossible to resist... they make it so easy.
