I've been quite genuinely in turmoil since my favourite ADHD body doubling YouTuber took all her videos down. Happy to report I have found a new safe body doubling channel as of this morning! The Sarah who actually does chores is back!

My other half's a cartoon! Check out this brilliant animation by @nuzzle.bsky.social (who absolutely nailed the hair)

You told us you like workshops and want more of them: here's another one coming up later this month!

Probably the most problematic entry in an episode that included literal cartoons

I'm always conflicted about sharing the cool things I'm doing on social media. You guys don't have that problem because you didn't grow up getting lectured about the evil eye

To be clear, I have no trouble believing these kids were subjected to unfair treatment. It's just that people are acting as if mouldy brownies are some sort of autistic Kryptonite

People have left reviews of the bad reviews. They're chiming in not because they've actually been to the cafe, but to express their disgust at the countless autistic children who've been personally victimised by a barista

Looking at reviews for a train station coffee shop near my new campus and they are UNIQUELY bad. They all read like: "I bought a brownie for my AUTISTIC son who just came out of HOSPITAL and it was mouldy!!! Then the barista threw the brownie onto the train tracks and told him to fetch!!!"

Thank YOU! So lovely to have you in class and your performance was an absolute treat!

Obligatory plug: we do Patreon lives every month and they're always a hoot! Sometimes they're live podcast recordings, other times they're workshops, other times... other stuff! Join us at patreon.com/thedailytism to get in on the fun

A huge thank you to everyone who gave up some of their Sunday spoons to join me for our comedy acting workshop! You all absolutely smashed it and I'm properly proud of you. Terrific analyses and performances all round!

There are so many incredible lines in this, but I love "You don't know what I'm up against" in this context

The outtakes specifically are what got me. But now I'm trying to decide who would win in a fight between Orson Welles and Moira Rose

Why did none of you tell me about that Orson Welles wine commercial??? I've been on this Earth nearly 30 years and only just found out about it today

Sara and I tried to give Guy the good news by staging an elaborate bit, but forgot we were all autistic and should have just told him normally instead of confusing the hell out of him.

Welcome, Guy. We promise we weren't hazing you.

Hare's submission was so funny I laughed out loud every single time I read it. So funny that, while I type this, I'm laughing just thinking about it. Please join me in welcoming this master of the craft to our silly little site!

Also! You don't have to be autistic or even neurodivergent to join, but the session is designed with ND brains in mind.
I'll also have some alternative exercises for those with limited mobility/speech, so don't feel put off by the mention of physical/vocal work.

Come and join me for a totally beginner-friendly introduction to comedy acting! We'll work hard and try new things, but we'll also all have each other's backs - and no icebreaker games, I promise.

I'll be running a beginner-friendly, autism-friendly comedy acting workshop later this month! Come along and try something new in a supportive environment - or just treat it as an excuse to prance about in leggings and talk extensively about your 'process'. That's also fine
