Astronomers have just spotted a new moon in images taken by the NASA/ESA/CSA James Webb Space Telescope.

The image is an artist representation of CAPERS-LRD-z9 galaxy, home to the earliest confirmed black hole. The supermassive black hole at its heart is believed to be surrounded by a dense cloud of gas, giving the galaxy a distinctive reddish color.
