I've done this with everything I've ever written. Ditto with the outlines and brainstorming things I was supposed to turn in because no one would accept that I could just sit down and write the damned thing. That's just not how my mind works and forcing me to pretend it does was maddening.

Feels very similar to old Twitter. In a mostly-good-way, but I generally don't use social media much anymore. Feels too much like putting thoughts in bottles and tossing them in the sea... we all need more face-to-face time.

Setting up a new social media account is hilariously similar to creating a character in a role-playing game, except that it's exceptionally difficult to name yourself whatever you want... unless you created your account when the game was new and then forgot about it.
