Instead, I refocus and recommit to my lifelong goals, many of which are continuous and ever-evolving. Exploring, learning and growing are all at the top of the list! ☑️✨

I often talk to ppl who read Pratchett as a kid who are sad there's nothing like it for kids today. Well, that isn't true any more. The Spick and the Span is perfect funny MG fantasy with footnotes for kids who know that the world is a bit of a scam but also a wonderful, warm place. #Kidlituk

our friend Kao Kalia Yang won THREE Minnesota Book Awards last night (a record for a single year!) and we have copies of all of them available now!

The Lyndale Park Rose Gardens are a couple of blocks away from my home. (Most people know them as the Lake Harriet Rose Gardens.) First, there will be rows and rows of vibrant tulips, followed by rows and rows of plump roses. I’m a writer, but being here always makes me want to paint!
