Oooh, I’ve got a Viking-inspired project on my “wanna-do” list (based on my current D&D campaign that is not moving fast enough for me), so this is going on my list for that one!

I find that I have to be very selective about the horror I watch, after winding up with PTSD. I don’t respond well to sudden adrenaline dumps anymore - and I NEVER watch a horror film by myself. I always make sure I go with someone else; I think it helps me stay grounded.

I have never read a single GGK novel that did not reduce me to ugly weeping at some point. Even on re-reads.

“Come to the Labyrinth” is not only on my writing playlist, it’s the inspiration for the name of the trilogy I’m working on and for one of the biggest scenes in the middle book.

Somehow, in my 50s, I have come to be “the voice of reason,” in settings ranging from my friends, to my church, to getting a promotion at work.

I’m not really sure when or how or why this happened, or how I actually feel about it, other than that maybe 15+ years of therapy is paying off somehow?
