This painting is entitled “Watch, As Yellow Dies”. I painted this in my last year of art school while I was in a deeply depressive state.
I had a mother kitty and two litters of her daughters. Because she was only a year old when she had them, they all died at the same time. Hence the title.

So many beautiful Crocuses. As a native of Southern California, the winters in the northeast can be hard on my soul. The first crocuses make things all better.
