Taking her hand, she looks very excited. Even her tentacles seem happy.

I've got multiple projects ongoing right now, and I'm making very good progress. Feels like I'm working most of the day now.”

She chuckles, a little bashful that she was missed. It's not like she's THAT special or anything...

“I suppose... though wouldn't it be weird to have magazines of a friend I can see in person? It's not like professional pictures can capture the same Sashi that I know...”

Once her tentacles backed off from the hug, she did as well. She clears her throat and adjusts her glasses in her own awkward manner, trying not to let embarrassment get to her.

“It's um... really cool that you're back. Makes all that waiting worth it.”

Resting her chin on their shoulder, Sparks holds her just a bit tighter. The thought of letting go seemed so scary, like it'd be the last one she'd ever get from Sashi.

“... Thanks Sash. You're um, pretty good at hugging by the way.”

“ . . . ”

This is one of the few times Sparks wasn't so easy to read. Was she mad? Happy? Upset?

She huffs... then follows it up by smothering Sashi with a hug. Her tentacles are glued to them.

“Just... promise you'll give me a call or something next time? I missed you, y'know.”

“...I figured that, too.”

She sighs, looking off to the side. Her tentacle tense up as she does.

“But I still couldn't help but wonder about how you were... out of curiosity, and... maybe a few other things.”

The tip of her tentacles curl just enough upwards to be noticed.
