The British Museum has ended its 15-year partnership with Japan Tobacco International #JTI.
Dr Allen Gallagher, Dr Duncan Thomas and Dr Sophie Braznell write for @uk.theconversation.com on what this means for tobacco industry sponsorship of the arts.

βThe long term effects of e-cigarette use are still uncertain, but harms established in children and young people today will have future consequences. The failure to protect childrenβs right to health today could result in harms which span generations.β
A recent analysis in the @bmj.com by Tom Gatehouse, Professor Emily Banks, @brigittoebes.bsky.social sky.social and Dr Raouf Alebshehy, argues that e-cigarette regulation must prioritise the rights of children.
