yes some just call and call with a sniff of a decode then call for 10 mins and work nothing lol i work a few then watch for squares or people i havent worked. Another 10 or so weeks till maybe some F2 to the east and start of the E's :)

6m (111 DXCC)most of the time then drop to 10 - 20m (80w)

I have an origonal one in a box somewhere with several others of the spectrum models that came later must look them out at some point same with commodores and ibm or bbc cant mind lol

more for you to work and it can be your 5 band if you choose :) I use my own logging to set goals on the antennas I have. Then use club log for a quick visual, I suffer noise on 30m and below so have 6m to 20m for 6 band dxcc that I set myself for 2024 all 80w except 6m.

2024 6m DX was good I started late May and worked 111 DXCC first F2 on 6m brought some new DX. Just under 1000 QSOs with some ssb and cw included, Furthest DX was Lance VK6DU 14732 km /9154 miles 10 Days to go so may break the 1000 QSOs but dont thing the DXCC will go higher :)

10m is full of dx and its been great comparing a pair of radios for weak rx and crowded rx Old Yaesu ft650 and a Icom ic7600 both similar set up for rx and both are great. Love the real needle :)

yes a lot of people want to buy a unit they can plug in and away they go. Maybe someone else will start up. I found it easy to do on a raspberry pi4 took me ages just to find one when they was a shortage of them and once i got it i had hamclock up and running in no time

Hope all who took part in the cw test enjoyed it I myself was under the weather and couldnt be bothered but i did occassionally look at the scope on the radio and it looks like it was a busy one :) always next year for me or next test :)

well we need better numbers but still some f2 from around 8:30am onwards to the far east asia ect then swings to usa in the afternoon with some south america on good days not seen VK for a few weeks plentu VU XV though

worked XV9T other week on 6m ssb seen a few stations today Vietnam. F2 Season has been good to me so no complaints still using an old 5 ele homebrew at 6m height missed a few due to work :( but i did pick up a few new dxcc on 6m couple of weeks ago just need to be in the right place :)

6m any mode thats working then i would say 10m ssb but not as busy as it once was but with the sun numbers its getting better

Many a radio was used in my shack if i was to choose one brand it would be Icom for its easy of use and many decent features. I loved my kenwood ts850sat was a hard day when i traded it for a 6m radio. Elecraft was good but after a few hour use it killed my ears. qrm location from electrics was good
