Past 3 weekends had it busy either with website I published, I aim to produce blog per month. I haven't done public ones since was into esports 😅 My sentry unreal source journey is progressing, creating plugin now.
I had a tech talk too, which took some prep time.
This weekend is all about rest!🔋

Almost #Hacktoberfest time. This year feels like a speedrun, months are passing through like never before. I aim to publish one own creation and the rest will be usual repos I hang around. And of course explore one tool else it's not a #code fest 😄

Happy times, I deep dived into sentry-unreal plugin slowly but surely, hour here and hour there in the evenings. Happy with the progress. Custom tag for level name is coming through in any state, for editor or game client crashes 🥳

Planning out personal projects has had me entertained, nothing special, blog on the way, next #oss contribution is slowly moving ahead and next room renovation about to begin, currently collecting ideas for decor.

Had a fantastic day at work and after work spent day outside. We had some fun chatter and cleaned windows, time passed so fast I didn't realize the chore finished so fast 😂

Took last few weekends to continue with my learning projects 🤓🥳
- I finished a simple website, it's based on #typescript & #tailwind.
- Catched up with latest updates on #game #engines
- Explored few #oss tools, collecting candidates for #Hacktoberfest attendance and beyond

Move to my third country I'll be living in has been a success.
Business travels and fast family visit were success. We did a whole road trip of 2700km. First work weeks have been a blast, learning new things and refining old knowledge 🥳

Spent May mentoring and also built few API mini projects, price trackers 😆. Last 2 weeks were all about closing down the chapter I am leaving in past, finally. I may finish book some day on it, my current focus is on new beginnings and continuing the dream.

Spent weekend learning, listened to a podcast that woke up some hope. Built ui mockup and structure for an app I'm building.
Stayed far from job search topics, felt positive change.

Talked to business owner who was ready to spend significant amounts on facebook marketing but their fresh accounts got suspended for good 😅 I feel their pain. They were asking me, if I know whether identity validation was done by AI as they got no other logical explanation why the check failed 🙈 🤷‍♀️

Spent day refreshing specific #Python knowledge I didn't use in a while, wrote test cases too.
Still adjusting to life changes, mentally difficult but it's not impacting my creative work.
Old esports habits of turning focus mode on are still with me, sometimes a curse 😅 cos I can't stop, won't stop.

It started with steam library, continued to tech books or udemy and finished at github 😂 I got quarterly goals for later two, so I get consistent progress.
As much as not having job atm has me stressed, I am glad I got opportunity to catchup on few stale ones and find some new inspirations too.

Great tips, I'd add to the list:
Make notes where onboarding could be improved and contribute to improving it, so next person has it easier.

I once introduced entire onboarding process cos I wished mine was easier 😆

I'm open for coffee chats in hope my experience can help anybody navigate through any uncertainties or just provide support. It's natural to feel the void and no closure after the doors are shut but there are new doors to open and more #tech to learn 4/4

The completionist I mentioned had to do with my first work adventure in #gameindustry. It sadly wrapped with #layoffs - "redundancy due to operational reasons". I knew what I'm signing for when was entering the industry, I'm OK! I'm #openToWork, looking forward to new chapter! 1/4
