The deadline for the joint BAMS/ MSA conference is fast approaching! It's exactly one month away on December 1, 2025. Please note it's the same deadline for panels, papers, roundtables, and workshop/ seminar proposals. You can propose in-person or online panels/ roundtables (but not hybrids).

I do. We're fortunate to still have a duplicating office on campus that will do it. I post/send out PDFs as an alternate format or backup, but I try to be putting hard copies of basically everything in their hands. I emphasize that this is intentional, and it seems to be appreciated.

Every other year, the MSA awards a prize for Editions, Anthologies, and Collections. This year's winner is: Oliver Herford, editor of Henry James, The Prefaces, Vol. 33 of The Cambridge Edition of the Complete Fiction of Henry James.

In 2026, the MSA Conference will look a bit different-- weird, even! That's because we're having a joint conference with BAMS @modernistudies.bsky.social in Loughborough, UK from July 1- 4, 2026. The CFP will be out soon! But in the meantime, please save the date.
