Recently finished the horror novella "What Moves the Dead" by T. Kingfisher. I'd heard good things about their writing and this was a wonderful start. As a Edgar Allen Poe fan I loved this re-imagining of "Fall of the House of Usher" as well as the character of Lieutenant Alex Eastman. #literature

Zomromcom's male main character is a grump that just needs the right level of socializing, and fortunately the breakout of French-grumbling zombies (yes, really) helps bring them together! I really like how the attraction isn't forced or "out of nowhere," and looking forward to future books!

First finished novel of 2026: Zomromcom! A supernatural romance where the FMC is plus-sized (and even then her shape is described pear-like rather than the "plus-size but curvy") and it's not something she gets shamed for.

Thanks to my local library I've been reading the #ACoTaR and 4th Wing romantasy series. #ACoMaF I like for exploring the answer to the hard question "Was it really love or trauma-bonding?" in the romantic triangle.
