In the end I did a load of Stardew Valley while hanging around in voice in a Discord server. It was actually all right in the end, and certainly better than the doomscrolling I usually do when I get like this

Oh well, I suppose I can always just sit here and stare at a wall for a few hours, then ... ? 🙃

Apparently this evening is another one in our running theme of "Wreck doesn't really feel like doing _anything_", again...

One thing that I recall emerging after the Grenfell disaster here - by no means the biggest issue there, of course! - was that at least a couple of the flats were owned by KSA investors. From what we know, they're already all over the London property market...

Anyway, this has been another installment from our old favourite theme, namely "Wreck liveblogs his ongoing nervous breakdown" 😆

I've had problems with collections a couple of times before, and I never heard/saw their van today (I guess it must have been while I was out walking?), which was the fuel for the fire in The Brain earlier (that plus general paranoia...)

OK, I decided to stop torturing myself and went down to check and, phew! the wreckage of the old, dead bed has indeed been collected, so it is done! Thank goodness for that!

I haven't yet been able to de-paralyse myself enough to go down there and look 🙃

In case you're wondering what today's proximal trigger was, The Brain has convinced itself that the council people won't have collected the old bed despite it being booked and paid forl, and it will all still be there in pieces, behind the flats.

Apparently today was one of those "fun" days when you wake up with the brain in a bad configuration state, and everything has proceeded from there :/
