I hope everyone had a wonderful XMas! My niece decided to join the BF & I for dinner. Tri-tip w/chimichurri sauce, roasted corn & burrata, homemade gem bean casserole, Brussels sprouts casserole, dressing, Crème Fraiche Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Garlic Herb Rolls & Tiramisu. Started prep Tues.😂

As the weather keeps getting colder, Julia seems to enjoy being inside more. This is the first time she's slept inside in the afternoon. In the mornings she lingers in bed longer before heading outside.

I couldn’t find a Santa and Elf but I did find this posable Grinch and (not posable) Max. They’re a little large but they’ll do for now. This yr I’m calling this THE GRINCH EXPRESS! I found my miniature Grinch frm @hooksandrounds & I just need to find Olaf to add.

I almost forgot! Happy 3 year Gotcha Day to these two brothers who have enriched our lives and continue to keep us on our toes!

My new Thanksgiving wreath arrived Monday. I love it! I, of course, added lights. And yes the bow is to cover the elf on the door hangar. 😂

After the movie yesterday, my sister and I went to BN. My sister for Bux and, well, books for me. 🤭 I was good and didn’t buy any books but I couldn’t pass up this adorable bookmark. It’s adjustable and I love it!

Julia has settled into a nice routine. Days outside, comes in at 5:30ish until the morning. She doesn’t sleep often on the couch but I’m happy when she does. Most of the time she tucks herself into her bed & spend the night in her little corner of the house. #semiferal #notsemiferal #herownersucks

Tried a new recipe - BO KHO SPICY VIETNAMESE BEEF STEW.

Turned out delicious! You can serve this w/a crusty baguette, rice noodles, wide egg noodles or just on its own. Garnishes - sliced onion, Thai basil, lime wedges, jalapeños & crispy fried shallots.
