What a relief. I almost started to believe that we need to put in the work to make life on earth sustainable as if our grandchildren need to survive here. That sounds way harder than waiting for Jesus to fix it all.

I recommend especially looking at what is influencing the politics of men under 40. It’s not news, it’s podcasters and influencers. And if you listen to the sentiments of people like Joe Rogan right now, those men are not showing up this November. Women have never been more motivated

I just don’t think Utah is as red as people think, especially among people under 40. That’s why they need the unfair maps. In 2018 Medicaid expansion, prop 4, and medial marijuana all won on the ballot and the people who have turned voting age since then are not red voters

We shouldn’t be complacent or overly confident, but people tend not to show up for midterms and everything I’m seeing from my Republican family is sentiments of horror, “I don’t watch the news anymore” or “I wish I just hadn’t voted at all”. These are all things I’ve heard, which is anecdotal I know

27.02.2026 15:46 — 👍 0    🔁 0    💬 0    📌 0

No, but I also think this would backfire on republicans spectacularly

I’m so tired 🫩just another reason for Dems in Utah to be super motivated to show out to vote. What are they going to do when the voters once again choose fair maps? Also, didn’t the maps already pass for this coming election so we already have our competitive blue district?

1. Numerous transgender people in Kansas are reporting that the state has sent them a letter demanding the immediate surrender of drivers licenses.

Those driving could be arrested, charged, and see privileges revoked.

Kansas has, overnight, invalidated the drivers’ licenses of trans people, a pointless cruelty that upends their lives

If Brits think “it won’t happen here” think again! Groups in the U.K. who want the same thing are routinely invited to consult with Labour and normalised in our press!

What does start again mean? We never needed the DHS to begin with, that was a Bush era mistake made to target Muslim Americans

Horrifyingly familiar. It is clear to me now that being soulless & cruel is, for millions of people, their default factory setting. Only imposing strong laws, unbending norms, & personal consequences will hold their worse impulses in check.

And then we risk becoming monsters ourselves.

Why are folks not asking more questions about this FBI complaint in the Epstein Files?

This makes it sound like they all just decided to start doing this. This has been their party for decades and they have purposefully crafted these narratives to try and desensitize half of the nation to their crimes. Every accusation is a confession.

Then it sounds like you’re doing good work, help others get involved if you can! We each have different skills and a different community,we have to stop asking this question as if anyone but yourself can answer it.We all want one “solution” but it’s all of us pushing back where we are in ways we can

Yes AND we need to stop treating it like entertainment and focus on justice for the victims. I am finding a lot of the victory laps, especially by leftist men, to be in very poor taste. Put the guilty’s feet to the fire, but don’t simply bombard your feed with flippancy that victims can see

Look at your local elections, there is no federal lever that can cancel or discount elections. Become a poll worker, help your local candidates knock doors, help people register to vote. Call their bluffs, the pushback in Utah worked and we have a blue district despite them trying everything

02.02.2026 20:33 — 👍 16    🔁 5    💬 1    📌 1

They tried everything to stop it and we still got a blue district in Utah! Don’t forget there is no federal lever to cancel elections, they are in every state so fight against voter disenfranchisement wherever you live and get huge numbers of people to vote!!

This is why I follow lawyers. Stop looking at headlines and breaking news, look for the legal follow-up, especially now with the Epstein files. This isn’t entertainment. In an ecosystem based on getting to the news first, listen to the experts, the victims and look at the bigger picture always.

It might’ve lost the Grammy but it won at my kid’s second grade talent show, there were no less than four renditions of the song. I cried all four times.

Yup. Solitary would probably be better than the death penalty, that would be too merciful. Let him scream into the void shitting himself the rest of his days.

Utah is getting a blue district and they couldn’t do anything about it!! Keep fighting to keep elections fair and turnout high where you leave, never concede power in advance or tell people their vote or their pushback doesn’t matter!!!

The shadow of white Christian America’s soul, lain out for us to see. The result of hate and complacency to that hate. We don’t lie down, we shine light on all the shadows including our own and we show them that our fierce protection of our neighbors will outlast their hate and fear tactics

Let Sascha Riley testify! The only way to protect these victims at this point is to get rid of the president and his whole cabinet and DOJ, also Lindsey Graham and Clarence Thomas. They are all guilty as hell and we need the truth

Better than two far-right capitalist parties. We would be able to see how different ideas can actually play out and what solutions can work for communities outside of the paradigms we’ve been given as our only choice. I think it would lead to more progressive policies as those tend to be popular

I’ll never forget January 6th. I lived in Sandy at the time and I was already panicking watching the news, then looked outside and my next door neighbor was getting in his car wearing a swastika armband and carrying a huge gun. This is Utah
